In occasione del World Poetry Movement Day, evento globale di poesia che si svolgerà contemporaneamente in 350 città del mondo, Sky Stone & Songs, noto negozio di dischi nel centro storico di Lucca, da sempre libero territorio all’interno delle mura urbane, presenta una giornata dedicata all’arte e alla musica.

Sabato 24 settembre, dalle 9:00 del mattino, la vetrina del negozio ospiterà “p’rima”, l’installazione audio visiva dell’artista e poeta lucchese Daniele Corsetti.

Alle ore 19:00 si svolgeranno una serie di concerti di musica improvvisata affidati ad alcuni membri del collettivo BURP e ai musicisti lucchesi Luca Leggero e Luca Giorgi.

A sound improvisational performance made entirely using a cell phone and a loop-station. Through the non-conventional use of the smartphone’s apps, I create ever-changing sound textures by alternating free, ambient and junk-pop deliriums, equating real instruments with ring tones and much more.

JODI’s autograph

On Saturday, March 28, 2009 I went to the opening of JODI’s exhibition at Project Gentili in Prato and I met them. On this occasion I asked them to autograph my book about New Media Art. For those unfamiliar with JODI, they are the biggest new media artists and my idols. This is a kind of performance and I can say that I collaborated with them.
